Oh, my God. Hello!
It has been a long while since I wrote something, and I’m very excited. My name is Val Riley, and I’m currently a 25-year-old medical student with ADHD trying to make sense of everything that has been going on
in my mind in 2020, those darn practice questions, and the myriad of possibilities and challenges life offers. The space here was created with the intention of being a personal blog and it will likely end up reflecting many of my interests. One of my goals is to post about all the personal development books I believe everyone should read and health topics, like curious notes on diseases and tips on healthy living with a holistic approach.
The journey of self-improvement never ends, and that’s what makes living so interesting. I have battled with suicidal thoughts and depression many times before, nothing seemed to be worth the effort of trying. It was probably one of those cases you would had never guessed from an outside look or a regular interaction. But it can happen to anyone, and I managed to get out. And so, perhaps its’ just the trying-with-all-your-might that counts. Therefore, I will also find the time to post here about everything that has helped me with similar feelings. So exciting!
Well, its’ already pretty late and there is actually some work that must be done… So for now I’m out, dears. Hope to see you here again.
